The Challenge
Addressing Rural Water Quality Blind Spots
Before our engagement, rural districts in West Bengal lacked access to scalable, reliable systems for continuous water quality monitoring. Water samples were tested manually, often delayed and inconsistent with BIS 10500 standards. The Government needed a modern, scalable way to track water safety in real time, across varied geographies — and with minimum manual intervention.
Our Solution
IoT-Powered Smart Water Quality Monitoring
EPP partnered with WTL to design and implement a robust network of smart sensors across targeted rural sites. These systems delivered:
pH, TDS, and turbidity tracking in real time
Tamper-proof data logs compliant with Jal Jeevan Mission protocols
Alert-based dashboards for contamination detection
Geo-tagged analytics for location-wise tracking
Why It Worked
How Our Approach Delivered Impact
